Fine Detailing of the Carpet Cleaning

Carpetsare real decorations of our house. They create an atmosphere of comfort and warmth, harmoniously complement the interior, but require additional care and cleaning efforts, collecting dust and attracting various odors. It is necessary to clean carpet products as often as possible with a vacuum cleaner and, making spring cleaning, not to forget about wet cleaning of carpets with the help of various household chemicals. Shampoo should be chosen according to the material from which the carpet is made. When the carpet is treated with a special detergent, the dirt dissolves, rises to the surface of the pile, and it, which has already dried up, is easy to assemble with a vacuum cleaner.

If there are hard stains or dried spots on the carpet, they must be removed manually before starting the main cleaning.

Eaten stains from carpets are successfully removed with fast-drying carbonate-based cleaners. It is possible to prepare such an agent at home:

  • in a bucket of water should be added a quarter cup of vinegar,
  • as much ammonia,
  • a tablespoon of dishwashing liquid, preferably colorless,
  • shake to foam
  • evenly cover the entire surface of the carpet.

Stains left by tea and coffee on light-colored surfaces should be removed with heated glycerin. It needs to be applied to the stain for 15-20 minutes, then blot dry with a terry towel. To combat the old spots, you can use oxalic acid (half a teaspoon for a glass of water). Apply the solution, wait a little, and then rinse thoroughly. With the Professional carpet cleaning this is very true now.

Fresh Stains

Fresh stains from iodine are derived using starch diluted in water as a slurry. Starch, reacting with iodine, gives a blue compound that is easily washed off with water. Dried iodine stain is recommended to fill with baking soda, top with vinegar and leave for at least 10 hours, then rinse with water.

  • Traces of tar and tar should first be scraped off with a knife, removing the top layer, and then treated with turpentine and alcohol solution, which are taken in equal parts. Iron through a paper towel.
  • Black spots left by soot, soot and shoe polish, containing in addition to the pigment also fats, should first be degreased with gasoline. Wash with alcohol (if not, you can use cologne) or turpentine, and when the stain is cleaned, wipe with a brush dipped in warm soapy water.

To remove a pencil or marker from carpets, apply a small amount of dentifrice. Spread the toothpaste on the surface of the stain using a brush, soak 2 – 4 minutes, then rinse the area with water and wipe with a damp cloth.
